Size is cubic yards — how much volume the can holds. The right pick is the one that fits the lot and the pile, in that order.

What the numbers mean
Roll-off sizes are measured in cubic yards. Coastline Disposal delivers 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 yard cans. We do not run a 40. The 15, 20, and 25 share a 16' length and 8' width; height is how the volume grows. The 30 is 18' long and 7' tall — measure the swing before you book it.
Project scope
Garage or bathroom: 10. Kitchen plus a room: 15. Whole-house cleanout or a roof: 20. A crew that will overflow a 20: 25. Estate, hoarder, demolition, or new construction: 30 — if the truck can land it.
Type of waste
Heavy loads (dirt, concrete, brick, roofing) fill a can by weight before they fill it by volume. Dirt, concrete, and brick are exclusive streams — book them as that material, not mixed into a house load. Hazardous waste stays out of every can: wet paint, solvents, fuel, propane, asbestos.
Space on the lot
A 30 that cannot swing into a Chatham or Provincetown driveway is not a 30. Village lots and Outer Cape dirt drives often take a 15 or 20. If a pickup barely parks there, start small.

Can I go bigger if I guessed wrong?+
Call. Sometimes we swap. Sometimes a second drop is cleaner than forcing a 30 onto a tight lot.
How far ahead should I book?+
A few days is usually enough. Peak summer on the Cape and storm weeks go faster. Online booking is open 24 hours.
