Junk bags vs. a roll-off dumpster rental
A junk bag is a heavy-duty bag you fill and have hauled. A roll-off is a steel can we drop, you load for 14 days, and we take away. They are not the same job.

What a junk bag is
Flexible bags sold for bulky trash. Fine for a closet, a few pieces of furniture, or a small garage corner. They sit where you can lift and drag. They are not a roofing tear-off or a kitchen demo.
What a roll-off is
An open steel dumpster delivered by truck. We run 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 yard cans. You load household junk, remodel debris, lumber, drywall, flooring, furniture, and roofing. That is a dumpster rental service: drop, window, pickup.
When the bag wins
Tiny pile, no driveway room for a truck, or you want to fill slowly over weeks without a can sitting out front. If the pile is a few bags, do not book a 20.
When the roll-off wins
Kitchen remodel, roof, whole-house cleanout, hoarder, construction site, anything that would take a dozen junk bags and a prayer. Metal containment, a door you can throw through, and one pickup. Capacity is the point.
What still stays out
Whether you bag it or throw it in a can, hazardous waste stays out: wet paint, solvents, fuel, propane, asbestos. Mattresses, tires, freon appliances, and large electronics can go in a mixed dumpster with an extra charge. Green waste needs its own can.
FAQ
Which is cheaper, bags or a dumpster?+
A couple of bags can be less than a can. A remodel is not a couple of bags. Enter the delivery address in booking to see dumpster pricing for your town.
How much does a junk bag hold vs. a 10 yard?+
Bags are usually in the 3–4 yard range. Our smallest roll-off is a 10. If you are shopping bags, you are not shopping a 20.
Can I put construction debris in a junk bag?+
Light demo, maybe. Roofing, framing, and whole-room gut jobs belong in a roll-off.
How long can I keep a Coastline dumpster?+
Fourteen days is standard. Call before the window ends if you need it to stay.
